About

The University of Washington has three campuses in Seattle, Bothell, and Tacoma. The main campus is situated on the banks of Portage and Union bays where there is a mesmerizing view of Cascade Range on the east and there are the Olympic Mountains on the west. The Seattle campus has Redsquare which is near the major landmarks buildings - the Suzzalo Building and Statue of George Washington. The University of Washington offers numerous bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. programs. The institute through its 140 departments offers specializations including, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Environment and Design, Family and Consumer Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, Arts and Sciences, Journalism and Mass Communication, Ecology, and Law.



History of University Of Washington

Established in 1861, the University of Washington is a public institute in Seattle, America. The institute is one of the best public institutes to study in the nation. In 1895, the University shifted to a new campus, Denny Hall. In 1990, the University began two new campuses in Bothell and Tacoma. The University of Washington has academic affiliations with the Association of American Universities (AAU), Universities Research Association, APRU (the Association of Pacific Rim Universities), University of the Arctic (UArctic), Space-grant, and Sea-grant. The University of Washington ranks #29 in World University Rankings by Times Higher Education 2022 and #80 in World University Rankings by QS.
